‘.txt’ file viewer and concordancer page|
Below is the content of the selected ‘.txt’ file. Use the concordancer (a specialized text search tool) to find keywords or phrases in context within the document, and useful combinations (collocations) with neighboring lexical elements. Each result is on a new line, with the keyword in the middle against a darker background. Use ‘Next’ and ‘Prev’ if there are more than 6 results. Searches are case sensitive. Hover the cursor over the Help button for more details!|
If the keyword is ‘so’, a search would include results like ‘some’, ‘software’, ‘also’, etc. A ‘whole word’ search, with a space added on both sides (‘ so ’), will skip them. It will also exclude instances with punctuation before or after the keyword, like ‘(so ’ or ‘ so,’. Don’t ‘narrow’ your search if you enter a root-word, e.g. ‘act’, and wish to find derivatives like ‘activity’, ‘deactivate’, ‘activation’, ‘acting’, etc.|
‘.txt’ file name:|
Enter a keyword or phrase in the field below.|
Keyword/phrase:|
Click the button to start the search.|

Use the arrow buttons to select the file you need and click ‘File’ to open it. If a ‘.txt’ document is selected, click either ‘File’ to open it in a text editor, or ‘Concord’ to go to the concordancer page.|
